Nice to meet you! *

With 26 years of experience in Eastern medicine, my approach is heart-centered, rooted in the wisdom of Chinese medicine, and designed to empower patients on their healing journeys. My passion is helping people reconnect with their bodies, restore balance, and cultivate resilience through acupuncture, qigong, and sound healing.

My journey began under the mentorship of Dr. CJ Chen, whose deep understanding of the Su Wen, one of the foundational texts of Chinese medicine, continues to inspire my practice. His dedication to preserving this ancient wisdom has shaped the way I approach healing, blending time-honored techniques with modern insights to offer truly integrative care.

Beyond earning my masters degree in acupuncture, I have completed over 200 hours of Qigong teacher training, allowing me to incorporate movement and breathwork into my treatments. In recent years, my studies have expanded to include sound healing, which beautifully aligns with Chinese medicine’s view that Yao (medicine) shares the same root as Yue (music). The ancients understood that sound has the power to shift energy, soothe the nervous system, and facilitate deep healing. I now weave sound into my treatments, using singing bowls, gongs, and other vibrational tools to help patients release tension and move toward greater harmony.

I’ve also been honored to share my knowledge with others, teaching Eastern medicine principles to healthcare professionals at institutions like the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Baker College, and Lansing Community College. I believe that bridging traditional wisdom with modern healthcare empowers both practitioners and patients alike.

At Roots of Wisdom Acupuncture, my goal is to help you feel more at home in your body and more connected to your own healing potential. Whether through acupuncture, Qigong, or the transformative power of sound, I look forward to supporting you on your path to wellness.
