Breathing in my Autumn Body: Qigong, Breathing, Sound, Visual Journaling and Seasonal Tea

$75.00

with Mary Ledvina and Jennifer Flynn

Saturday, October 25, 1-4pm, cost: $75

231 Little Lake Dr., Ann Arbor, MI

(upper level lot entrance to the movement studio)

Experience a specially curated mix of healing activities for the fall season: The initial Qigong with acupressure and breath will help you move in harmony with Fall’s elemental energy. The sound bath will include focus on your breath and have time for connecting with your autumn body. Then you will be guided to express your breath on paper. This can be a written expression or a simple image or line, that is meant for self-expression. Next, do a simple art exercise with the seasonal elements that needs no art experience and is just play. End with sharing and a calming tea for the season (including a recipe to be able to make this tea).

Mary Ledvina, MOT (she/her) is a former massage therapist who heals through creative practices like writing, art and music. Her work has been published in Art Journaling Magazine, Paragraph, Seeding the Snow, Open Minds Quarterly, Peninsula Poets, and Harpy Hybrid Review. As the founder of Roots of Wisdom Acupuncture, she takes a heart-centered approach to healing, helping others tap into their body’s innate wisdom, release stress, and restore balance.
