Relax, unwind, and begin to look and feel your best. The face is the expression of our spirit (shen)! Over time, stress begins to reveal itself with physical indicators like dark circles and bags under the eyes, fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. It is important to remember some wisdom lines are a normal and healthy part of aging, we can gracefully embrace. Facial rejuvenation is a natural remedy that stimulates blood flow to the face to brighten the expression and reduce the effects of stress. The session opens with a brief head massage and cleansing aromatherapy hot towel. During this service acupuncture needles will be applied to the face to promote healthy flow of qi and blood followed by foot reflexology. The session will end with an application of pearl powder which traditionally calms the shen (spirit), nurtures the skin through rich minerals, and promotes muscle development and circulation.
